Job Description In your role in Purchasing, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services efficiently and cost-effectively. You will work closely with suppliers and internal departments to negotiate the best purchasing terms and ensure that all required materials/products/services are available at the right time.
Responsibilities
Negotiate commercial long-term agreements, including logistics services, packaging solutions, and leasing contracts.
Analyze costs and identify savings opportunities.
Coordinate international market analyses and purchasing projects.
Actively influence product development and push forward cost-reducing measures.
Influence product development and cost reduction.
Define and implement purchasing, supplier, and product group strategies.
Contract management, including risk and claim management.
Establish and maintain supplier relationships and active risk management.
Optimize and digitalize purchasing processes.
Qualifications
Successfully completed technical and/or economical education (college, university).
Several years of experience in purchasing and/or logistics within an international business environment.
Experience in project and change management.
SAP knowledge (or knowledge in any other ERP system with focus on procurement).
Very good knowledge of English and German (business fluent).
Assertive personality with strong negotiation skills.
High results orientation and flexibility combined with strong communication skills.
Intercultural competence would be beneficial.
Willingness to travel.

Your annual salary is based on your previous professional experience and educational level and ranges between € 43.000,- und € 63.000,- gross pa. full-time basis.
