Responsibilities
Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the seamless execution of marketing projects. You will organise day-to-day communications tasks (including newsletters, articles, long-form social media posts, and PR) and coordinate marketing for events and partnerships. You will also closely contribute to and collaborate with the marketing team on other campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign and Event Marketing:
- Coordinate marketing initiatives for events, including content planning (writing or briefing copy) and coordination with event managers.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and seamless delivery of assets.
- Develop and execute strategies for key brand campaigns alongside the marketing team.
- Content Coordination:
- Research and compile information for articles, LinkedIn long-form posts, and newsletters.
- Brief and manage freelance writers for support on any communications projects.
- Work with the rest of the marketing team on content, storytelling, and campaign ideas.
- Project manage the delivery of hero content pieces, leading on production, including working with external partners and service providers.
- General Project Management & Team Enablement:
- Look after the project management board on Notion, ensuring it remains clean, organized, and up to date.
- Provide resources, briefs, and schedules to support the Content Creator, Art Director, and other team members.
- Proactively gather and communicate information from internal stakeholders to streamline workflows and ensure smooth project execution.
- PR and Stakeholder Communication:
- Inform third-party PR contacts about news, events, and initiatives happening within the Factory Network.
- Help to maintain relationships with partners, ensuring alignment on co-branded campaigns and initiatives.
- Metrics and Reporting:
- Track and analyze the success of campaigns and projects, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Maintain organized project documentation and regular updates for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or project management, ideally in tech, startups, or creative industries.
- Proven track record in managing marketing campaigns, events, and communications projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong copywriting and content creation abilities for newsletters, articles, and social media posts.
- Proficiency with marketing tools (e.g., email platforms, CMS, analytics tools).
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and long-form social media content best practices.
- Basic understanding of design and multimedia workflows, with experience collaborating with creative professionals.
- Experience with project management tools like Trello, Asana, or Monday.com.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
- Proactive approach to gathering and sharing information to streamline workflows.
- Industry Knowledge & Competencies:
- Familiarity with tech, startup, or professional networking industries.
- Experience coordinating marketing for events and partnerships.
