Responsibilities
For our location in Hamburg, we are looking for an experienced and committed Community and Project Manager (m/w/d) .

This position is about curating meaningful connections, organizing exceptional events, and understanding our members’ needs to deliver an unparalleled community experience in Hamburg. You’ll have the opportunity to engage with inspiring individuals, experiment with new ideas, and enhance our community\’s vibrancy through curated experiences and data-driven insights.
Responsibilities:
- Event Organization & Programming
- Conceptualize, plan, execute and moderate a diverse range of community events, from social gatherings like afterworks and get-togethers to skill-building workshops and pitch sessions.
- Collaborate with external partners and thought leaders to bring fresh ideas and expertise to the Factory stage.
- Support members and partners in executing self-led events by offering guidance, resources, and promotional assistance.
- Community Curation & Member Experience
- Actively network with individual members, startups, and corporate partners to better understand their needs and aspirations.
- Curate sub-communities within Factory, empowering leaders and members through our Circles program and Community Hub.
- Be the key point of contact for members, ensuring their journey with us—from application to active engagement—is seamless and impactful.
- Community Strategy & Development
- Contribute to the development and refinement of membership offerings by analyzing user insights and proposing new features and benefits.
- Scout and negotiate partnerships with external companies to enhance member perks, programming, and opportunities.
- Work cross-functionally with teams like Communications and Operations to align strategies and ensure a cohesive member experience.
- Innovate new programs and formats to boost member engagement, such as mentorship initiatives, Ask-Me-Anything sessions, or hackathons.
- Conduct surveys, interviews, and data analysis to keep a pulse on member satisfaction and engagement.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Community Management, Event Management, User Research, or related roles.
- Exceptional interpersonal and networking skills with a knack for connecting people and creating welcoming spaces.
- Experience organizing events from concept to execution, with a strong eye for detail and creativity.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience conducting user research and translating findings into actionable strategies.
- Moderation skills are a plus.
- Knowledge of Hamburg’s startup, tech, and creative ecosystems is a big plus.
- Highly organized, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Fluent in German and English.
