Responsibilities
We’re seeking a creative and energetic Social Media Content Creator (m/w/d) to enhance our online presence and engage our diverse community of innovators. As a key member of the marketing team, you’ll develop and execute content that resonates with our audience and reflects the dynamic culture of Factory Network.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Management:
- Plan, produce, and publish high-quality, engaging content (videos, reels, images, stories, posts) for platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Twitter.
- Confidently capture and edit video and image content from events, programs, and campus life, showcasing Factory Network’s vibrant culture.
- Use advanced editing tools (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, Canva, etc.) to create polished, professional content.
Collaborative Support:
- Support the community team by covering events pre, during and post.
- Contribute to newsletters, ensuring engaging and brand-aligned content.
- Assist in partnership campaigns by creating mindful co-branded content.
- Support creative production and ideation for broader marketing and community projects.
- Help to drive office and event space sales by showcasing spaces in a compelling way.
Strategy & Analytics:
- Develop an organic social media strategy that aligns with our mission, values, and business goals.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on content performance to optimize strategies and drive engagement.
- Keep up to date with internal company developments, member news, and industry trends.
Community Engagement:
- Interact with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a relatable and professional tone.
- Collaborate with community members to spotlight their stories and successes.
Brand Consistency:
- Maintain Factory Network’s tone of voice and ensure visual and written content adheres to brand guidelines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in social media management and multimedia content creation, particularly video and image production.
- Strong proficiency with editing tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects), Final Cut Pro, or similar.
- A creative portfolio demonstrating skills in video editing, photography, and graphic design.
- Excellent storytelling, communication, and writing skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team as well as independently, taking ownership of projects and delivering results.
- Flexibility and availability to attend events outside of standard working hours.
- Outgoing, friendly, but professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
- Adaptable and resourceful with the ability to react to ever-changing work demands in a dynamic environment.
- Experience or knowledge of the startup ecosystem is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Instagram Insights, Google Analytics, Hootsuite) to measure and refine strategies.
