Technical Editor (m/f/d)

The position is to be filled full-time or part-time with at least 30 hours/week.

Your tasks with us:

• Editorial creation and coordination of technical documents such as assembly, service and repair instructions
• Preparing the releases for the documents
• Maintenance, unification and optimisation of the current document standard
• Editing of texts, graphics, images and photos for documentation
• Close cooperation with engineering, sales and external service providers

What you bring with you:

• Completed technical training (m/f/d), technician (m/f) or comparable training
• Ideally professional experience in the creation of technical documentation
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel), Adobe Professional or an editing system (such as FrameMaker or SMC editing system)
• Safe handling and correct interpretation as well as implementation of relevant legislation and directives (mechanical and plant engineering)
• Very good knowledge of German and English
• Strong communication and team spirit
• Analytical, structured approach
• Independent and precise way of working
