The Channel Partner Specialist Central Europe (d/f/m) is responsible for managing sales growth through channel partners. Your primary role is to build and maintain business relationships and product support with existing channel partners, including dealers and resellers in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Central European countries. This role is responsible for the complete product portfolio within the Life Science and Applied Solutions Business.
This position reports to the Channel/Indirect Sales department and is located in Germany or Austria and will be fully remote .
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop and maintain business relationships with channel partners in the region.
- Conduct regular business meetings and funnel reviews with channel partners to better understand market dynamics and implement business strategies for strategic products and market segments.
- Cooperate with internal teams, such as Sales, Product, Customer Care and Service, Marketing, and others to ensure channel partner satisfaction and resolve any issues.
- Identify and acquire new channel partners aligned with our company vision and go-to-market strategy to strategically drive growth.
- Engage in direct sales activities of channel partners, follow up on contacts, attend trade fairs, and maintain relationships with key accounts in the Life Science and Applied segments to increase market visibility.
- Ensure that all channel partners are fully equipped with the necessary tools and information (support in preparing offers, technical and commercial information, etc.) necessary to increase sales effectiveness.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Degree in business administration, materials science, natural sciences, or a comparable qualification.
- Experience in sales and business development in the B2B sector, ideally with knowledge in the field of microscopy or similar technical products.
- In-depth expertise in customer service combined with a strong understanding of sales strategies, especially in cooperation with channel partners who sell directly to end customers.
- Fluent in German and English.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to travel – around 70% travel within territory.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
