About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead and inspire a team of 360 recruiters. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring adherence to our company\’s core values and standards.

This role manages a direct team of 360 recruiters in Melbourne, as well as mentoring and coaching 360 recruiters in NSW based on the standards, behaviours and metrics you put in place. Your role is to drive results and standards across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets in VIC.
  • Work with Sales Leadership across NSW and QLD to drive repeatable strategies and behaviours.
  • Coach and mentor the 360 recruiters across VIC and NSW to optimise their sales performance and enhance their skills.
  • Monitor individual and team performance metrics, providing regular feedback and coaching to drive improvement directly in VIC and with the sales manager in NSW.
  • Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities to expand the client base.
  • Team Management:
    • Recruit, hire, and onboard talented 360 recruiters to strengthen the team.
    • Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture.
    • Work collaboratively with your peers in other geographies.
    • Provide clear direction, guidance, and support to the team.
    • Manage and oversee the offshore admin/support team to ensure efficient operations.
  • Centre of Excellence:
    • Set and maintain high standards of excellence for the 360 recruitment role nationally.
    • Promote a culture of continuous learning and development.
    • Work with the senior leadership team to drive improvement across people, processes, technology and data with the goal of being “best in class”.
    • Conduct regular training sessions and coaching to enhance the team\’s skills and knowledge both in VIC and NSW.
    • Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations in VIC and NSW.
  • Individual Performance:
    • Achieve personal sales targets and KPIs.
    • Actively engage in business development activities to secure new clients and opportunities.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • 7+ years in recruitment sales, including 360 recruitment hands-on roles.
  • Prior experience of team leading.
  • Demonstrable proof of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Experience in the projects domain, especially technology projects.
  • Experience working in Tier 1 customers across key industries: state government, financial services, and energy & utilities.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes such as panels.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven track record in sales leadership and team management, preferably within the recruitment industry.
  • Strong understanding of the 360 recruitment model and its nuances.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and empower a team.
  • Ability to influence non-direct reports.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in ATS and recruitment tools e.g. LinkedIn, Seek.
