About the company
We are working with our client who is a National NDIS-Supported Independent Living (SIL) care and in-home care support provider who bring a unique combination of care and accommodation for participants who require “High Physical”, “Robust” and “Non-SDA” homes close to all amenities, medical precincts, and services with 24/7 tailored support.

Currently active across three states including Queensland, Victoria, and South Australia with a dedicated team of over 350 employees, this company plans to continue their expansion and grow their participant numbers and employees Nationally.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position will be responsible for leading and coaching Team Leaders, Support Workers, and participants at various accommodation sites in Adelaide. This role is key in driving best practice, client satisfaction, motivation, and leadership guidance to ensure the highest quality of care is provided to participants.

THE POSITION
As the Service Delivery Manager, you will oversee the delivery of services across our residential disability programs, ensuring operational excellence, compliance with NDIS standards, and a seamless experience for our clients. Your leadership will support continuous improvement, build stakeholder relationships, and drive team performance to meet the evolving needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service Delivery Oversight: Manage the end-to-end delivery of disability support services, ensuring all activities align with NDIS quality standards.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Provide coaching to the service delivery team, fostering a culture of collaboration, respect, and accountability. Ensure staff are equipped with the necessary skills and training to meet client needs and regulatory requirements, promoting continuous professional development.
  • Team Management: Manage and support teams of Lifestyle and Service Delivery Leaders and Disability Support Workers to ensure high performance and engagement.
  • Administrative Management: Manage and coordinate site administrative processes and assets, in consultation with Lifestyle and Service Delivery Leaders.
  • Legal Compliance and Policy Adherence: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local government legislation, regulations, and laws including reporting incidents to the NDIS commission.
  • Client-Centred Service Management: Oversee the creation and implementation of personalised support plans that reflect the goals, needs, and preferences of each client. This involves coordinating with families, carers, and NDIS support coordinators.
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Lead and facilitate regular service reviews to identify areas for improvement. Implement strategic initiatives aimed at optimising resource utilisation, reducing costs, and increasing client satisfaction.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, families, and NDIS Support Coordinators in consultation with the Team Leaders.
  • Financial and Budget Management: Oversee the financial performance of service delivery, including budgeting, forecasting, and managing operational costs.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all services comply with relevant accreditation standards, including those set by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.

Who we are looking for
Ideally, we are looking for an experienced NDIS, SIL (Supported Independent Living) Accommodation, Service Delivery Manager or Team Leader with previous experience working at an operational and leadership level including:

  • Two years of experience working in SIL as a service delivery manager/team leader
  • Proven experience in NDIS, Aged Care, Nursing, Disability Services, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in a service delivery management role within the disability or healthcare sector
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and support high-performing teams
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Knowledge of NDIS standards, compliance, and quality assurance processes
  • A proactive and client-centred approach to service delivery and problem-solving skills.

Essential to the role would be qualifications in disability support and sound knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme and the Disability Inclusion Act (2014).

Your Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in computer use, particularly in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Resilience and the ability to maintain performance, both individually and within a team, during challenging situations.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal direction while contributing effectively to a team environment.
  • Commitment to developing and improving systems and procedures.
  • Genuine empathy and commitment to the welfare, rights, and personal growth of people with disabilities.
