The Federation of Reception and Taste Trades is looking for an EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT - EMPLOYERS' SECRETARIAT, Contract type: Permanent contract, starting 1st October 2026 or by agreementWorking time and place: 70% to 100% by agreement, in Pully (VD) Reporting to the FMAG director, the executive assistant – employers' secretariat supports the latter in the management and development of professional associations and member organisations of the federation. Working closely with the committees of member entities, institutional partners and authorities, they ensure, with considerable autonomy, the rigorous follow-up of the files entrusted to them and actively contribute to the construction and development of the federation, in line with the defined strategic objectives. Their duties include: Managing the secretariat of several member professional associations: organising committee meetings and general assemblies, drafting invitations, agendas and minutes. Direct support to the Director in managing and developing relations with member organisations and their respective committees. Advising and informing association members on administrative, regulatory and contractual matters specific to their sector. Preparing and monitoring the implementation of decisions made by committees and assemblies, in liaison with the Director and association presidencies. Occasional representation of the federation and its member associations at meetings, commissions or events, alternating with the Director. Contributing to the development of new services and offerings for associations and member organisations. Monitoring and following regulatory, economic and political news relevant to the sectors represented by the federation. Participating in the organisation of events and activities specific to member associations (assemblies, professional days, etc.). Collaborating with other team members on cross-cutting projects benefiting member associations (training, policy, communication, etc.). Active participation in the construction and structuring of the federation, improving administrative processes and facilitating exchanges between entities, with initiative and support for implementing management tools and processes suited to a developing structure.
Profile sought Higher education (federal certificate, ES/HES or university degree) in management, law, economics or equivalent field; proven experience in association secretariat work may compensate for an academic qualification 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within a professional, employers’, umbrella, economic or political association Excellent writing, spelling and interpersonal skills in French essential, proficiency in office tools (Microsoft Office) Good knowledge of the functioning of professional associations and their bodies, strong interest in employers’ and economic issues Strong sense of responsibility, autonomy and excellent priority management, able to handle several files and entities simultaneously, anticipate needs while demonstrating discretion and establishing a climate of trust Initiative, proactivity and entrepreneurial spirit, with a desire to actively contribute to the construction and development of the structure Ease in interpersonal relations and sharp political sense, comfortable with diverse interlocutors Availability for flexible hours and occasional travel
