The Catholic Church in the canton of Vaud is a living and committed community. More than 50 parishes, 5 departments, 5 linguistic missions, 280 motivated collaborators and nearly 4,000 volunteers with the same mission: to live their faith and share the values of the Gospel.
In order to strengthen the team of the Intercultural Pastoral Unit (UPI) Riviera–Pays-d'Enhaut, we are looking for:
a catechesis coordinator, 70%
Main activities:
- You lead catechesis groups, organise and participate in key events (family mass, retreats and intergenerational times), with children and adolescents. You are the link with the families. - You take on the catechesis secretariat, notably managing the reception and telephone duty. - You establish, among other things, various files and schedules, update the transmitted information and manage the diary. - You participate in cantonal training sessions and collaborate with other pastoral agents.
Profile sought:
- You are of the Catholic faith and have a strong interest in the world of children and youth, as well as an openness to ecumenism. - Your interpersonal skills and ease in communication make you a person of dialogue, open to others, promoting teamwork and collaboration. - You demonstrate autonomy, creativity and also have good writing and organisational skills. You are comfortable with IT tools. - You agree to train regularly. You are mobile and flexible with working hours.
