ppThe Data Intelligence Team works alongside different technical groups to lead the data transformation of the department. Our work focuses on designing, building and deploying end to end data solutions that will enable more effective real-time decisions trackside and allow data-driven design of future sporting and technical regulations. /p pWe seek result-driven, proactive people, who are passionate about building high-quality software solutions that address problems by transforming how engineers use data and technology. They must have a desire to innovate in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, as part of a growing team pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the unique and inspiring world of Motorsport. /p pThe position will be based in our headquarters in Geneva and will involve some travel to Formula 1 championship events. /p h3MISSIONSAND RESPONSIBILITIES: /h3 pAs F1 Data Scientist your mission is to design, test and deploy data solutions that transform raw motorsport data into powerful, actionable insights. You will work with large and diverse sources of data including telemetry time series, images or regulatory documents across multiple championships with the aim to build innovative tools and models that enhance understanding, and support fast decision-making. /p pTo accomplish this, you will be part of the end-to-end product life-cycle: from requirement gathering and PoC development to deployment of production-ready solutions designed to scale, be understood by end users, meet organisation requirements and adapt as needs evolve. /p pThis role is ideal for someone who takes initiative, owns their work end-to-end, and actively contributes to a high-performing team. /p h3Data Science /h3 ul liDevelop Machine Learning models and advanced analyti cal tools that can provide further insights for decision-making. /li liFurther develop the FIA data analytics tool suite to optimise our remote and on-track support operations through real time analysis. /li liInvestigate multimodal approaches that integrate telemetry time series , image, video, audio, and regulatory documents to enrich analytical capabilities. /li /ul h3MLOps Solutions /h3 ul liBuild and maintain robust MLOps solutions to ensure scalability, reliability and continuous improvement of the deployed solutions. /li liCollaborate with the Data Intelligence group to standardize data processing and promote shared tools across different FIA championships . /li liStay up to date with state-of-the-art models, especially on time series treatment and the multi-modality area. /li liStay up to date on MLOps tools, techniques and best practices to enhance team capabilities. /li /ul h3PROFILE: /h3 ul liMaster ’s degree or equivalent working experience level in Computer Science , Data S cience , AI Engineer, ML Ops Engineer or similar discipline. /li liYou have extensive experience developing clean and efficient software in Python . /li liYou have significant experience with data wrangling libraries such as pandas, numpy , and Py Spark . /li liYou have significant experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks such as S klearn , SciPy, XG Boost or Pytorch . /li liYou have extensive experience with the ML development lifecycle and MLOps solutions ( MLFlow or similar) for model versioning, registry and experiment tracking . /li liYou have knowledge o f CI/CD pipeline implementation and containerization (Docker). /li liYou have experience with SQL and No-SQL databases. /li liYou have demonstrated an ability to learn continuously and work autonomously. You are comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment with dynamic obje ctives and fast iteration with users. /li liYou have demonstrated your ability to work effectively within teams with mixed technical expertise . /li liYou are n ative or fluent in English.
