Role Description This full-time, on-site Master Electrician role is based in Marsberg and focuses on leading electrical work for commercial and industrial environments. The Master Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and wiring in accordance with relevant codes and safety standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing electrical projects, diagnosing issues, performing advanced troubleshooting, and ensuring preventive maintenance is completed on schedule. The role also involves supervising and mentoring junior electricians, coordinating with project managers and other trades, and documenting work performed for compliance and quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong foundational knowledge in electricity and applied electrical principles.
- Candidates should possess hands-on expertise in electrical work, including installation, wiring, and system upgrades.
- Candidates should possess skills in maintenance & repair to ensure safe and reliable operation of electrical systems.
- Candidates should possess advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities for complex electrical issues.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with electrical engineering concepts relevant to system design and optimization.
- Valid Master Electrician certification or license, in line with local regulations.
- Proven experience in commercial or industrial electrical projects, including reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of safety standards, building codes, and best practices for risk prevention.
- Ability to lead teams, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and coordinate work with other trades on-site.
- Willingness to work on-site in Marsberg, with flexibility for occasional overtime or shift work as project needs require.
