PMO – Murex Transformation Program (Geneva) in Genève

pFenixys is a Murex Official Partner Company specialising in Advisory, Project Delivery and Managed Services. /p h3Context /h3 pFenixys are assisting with a long-term re-platforming initiative to migrate Trading and Treasury activities to MX.3 in phased rollouts covering Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, Risk, and part of Finance. We are seeking a seasoned Murex Technical Lead to drive technical design, interface strategy, and hands-on development throughout the program. The role is based in Geneva within a small, dynamic team and will collaborate closely with the vendor to ensure a robust, scalable implementation. /p h3The role /h3 pWe are looking for an experienced PMO to steer the governance, planning and reporting of a large Murex MX.3 transformation program for a financial institution in Geneva. /p pThe program covers the upgrade and re-platforming of Murex across front office, risk, and middle office, with interfaces to back-office, accounting, market data and regulatory reporting systems. As PMO, you are the backbone of the program: you keep the plan honest, the risks visible and the steering committee well informed. /p pYou will work hand in hand with the Program Director, workstream leads (business, Murex functional and technical, integration, testing, infrastructure) and the client's business sponsors. /p h3Key responsibilities /h3 h3Governance and reporting /h3 ul liRun the program governance cadence: weekly workstream reviews, monthly steering committees, and ad hoc decision forums. /li liProduce clear, concise dashboards and SteerCo packs on progress, milestones, budget, risks and decisions. /li liMaintain the decision log and action tracker, and follow actions through to closure. /li /ul h3Planning and dependencies /h3 ul liBuild and maintain the integrated program plan across all workstreams (MX.3 configuration, interfaces, data migration, testing, cutover, decommissioning). /li liTrack the critical path and cross-workstream dependencies, including vendor (Murex) and infrastructure deliveries. /li liSupport release, testing (SIT, UAT, non-regression, parallel run) and go-live readiness planning. /li /ul h3Risk, issue and change control /h3 ul liOwn the RAID log; challenge workstream leads on mitigations, owners and due dates. /li liRun the change request process and assess impact on scope, budget and timeline. /li /ul h3Financial and resource management /h3 ul liTrack program budget, actuals and forecasts, including internal staff, consultants and vendor costs. /li liManage resource planning, onboarding and timesheets across a team of internal staff and external partners. /li /ul h3PMO tooling and methodology /h3 ul liSet up and run PMO standards, templates and tooling (e.g. Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Power BI). /li liPrepare evidence and documentation for internal audit, risk and compliance reviews. /li /ul h3Your profile /h3 ul li7+ years of PMO or project management experience in banking or capital markets. /li liAt least one end-to-end Murex program (implementation, MX.3 upgrade or migration) in a PMO or project role. /li liProven experience running SteerCo reporting, RAID management and integrated planning on programs of 30+ people. /li liStrong command of MS Project (or equivalent), Excel, PowerPoint and Jira/Confluence. /li liFluent English; professional French. /li liEligible to work in Switzerland (Swiss or EU/EFTA citizen, or holder of a valid permit). /li /ul h3Nice to have /h3 ul liSolid understanding of the trade lifecycle across front, middle and back office, and of Murex modules and interfaces at a functional level. /li liExperience with Swiss private or investment banks and the FINMA regulatory environment. /li liPMP, PRINCE2, MSP or SAFe certification. /li liPower BI or similar reporting tools. /li liStructured and rigorous, with a sharp eye for inconsistencies in plans and figures. /li liConfident with senior stakeholders; able to challenge workstream leads constructively. /li liClear communicator who can turn complexity into a one-page view for decision-makers. /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
