Act as the main technical bridge between European customers and the internal teams in Japan and China. Translate customer requirements into clear internal actions and provide accurate, customer-ready technical responses.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand European customer applications, specifications, drawings, and technical requirements.
- Recommend suitable products and support product selection, design‑in, testing, qualification, and production launch.
- Design and modify products in 3D CAD and produce 2D manufacturing drawings for customer applications.
- Coordinate technical communication between customers, Sales, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and R&D.
- Organize customer and internal technical meetings, document decisions, and track open actions to closure.
- Coordinate samples, customized solutions, testing, validation, complaints, and corrective actions.
- Communicate technical risks, design changes, delivery impacts, and project status to customers.
- Prepare technical proposals, specifications, reports, presentations, and customer documentation.
- Support Sales with technical quotations, customer visits, new business opportunities, and design‑in projects.
- Ensure that customer expectations in Europe are aligned with execution by the teams in Japan and China.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Materials Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Experience in application engineering, technical sales, product engineering, or customer support.
- Design skills: proficient in CAD design tools such as CATIA and Pro/E (PTC Creo).
- Ability to understand technical drawings, specifications, test results, and manufacturing requirements.
- Strong communication, coordination, problem‑solving, and project‑management skills.
- Willingness to travel to customers and company locations when required.
Language Requirements
- Other European languages: advantageous.
- Japanese and/or Chinese: beneficial for supporting communication with internal teams in Japan and China.
