Securities & Funds Reconciliation Officer – M/F in Genf

Temporary assignment – 12 months, with potential extension

For one of our long-standing banking partners in Geneva, we are currently looking for an experienced Securities & Funds Reconciliation Officer to join its Back-Office Operations team.

Working within a team of experienced professionals, you will be responsible for reconciliation activities across securities and investment funds, with a strong focus on investigation, accuracy and follow-up of discrepancies.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Reconciliation of securities and fund positions across various depositaries
• Manual booking of statements not automatically reconciled, particularly for Hedge Funds
• Identification, analysis and investigation of reconciliation breaks
• Monitoring and follow-up of pending securities and fund items
• Management and follow-up of ongoing reconciliation cases
• Follow-up with counterparties and depositaries regarding missing statements
• Contribution to the smooth running of Back-Office operations

Your profile:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Securities and/or Funds Reconciliation
• Good understanding of Back-Office banking activities
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Meticulous, proactive and well-organised approach
• Solution-oriented and pragmatic mindset
• Strong interpersonal skills and team spirit
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
• Good command of the MS Office suite
• Knowledge of GTMatch, GTExchange and/or Globus would be a strong asset
• French and English proficiency
