About your team
You will be responsible for supporting Fidelity’s Pension & Institutional team in Kronberg, taking ownership of client and prospect support, reporting, material updates and acting as a coordinator in the client activities of the Pension & Institutional Sales team. We are a clearly outcome-oriented team with a “can do-attitude” and welcome flexible working structures.
Key Responsibilities
Client Support
- Support the team in responding to client requests by coordinating internally with relevant stakeholders and gathering the necessary financial and operational information. Liaise with teams across different locations to identify and source information required to address client needs, without direct client interaction.
- Act as a partner of the Pension & Institutional Sales team to support account managers, working with them to build and promote the Fidelity strategies, services and brand to current or future clients
- Help respond or coordinate responses related to the client’s request for proposals (RFP) in collaboration with the RFP and Product teams in London
- Provide sales support, e.g. develop client newsletters, and maintain and update marketing materials
- Coordinate conference logistics and support the preparation and follow-up of client meetings and events
- Support the continued growth and expansion of our Liquidity Solutions, Asset management and pension businesses
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance client engagement and drive business development initiatives
- Coordinate meeting, conference and speaker requests
Be a key driver of quality management, making sure that all provided data is internally aligned and compliant with client requirements:
Materials
- Prepare tailor-made materials adapted to institutional & corporate investors with relevant and accurate data
- Proactively generate ideas for enhancing sales aids and presentation materials
- Support the preparation of the investment theme documents in collaboration with the Marketing team
Reporting and client database
- Provide institutional reporting services with fund/macro investment communication to various stakeholders
- Always ensure the client databases are as accurate and updated as possible
- Develop deep understanding of institutional, pension & liquidity requirements to engage in marketing and campaign activities
Strategic work and project management
- Participate and monitor development of internal and external projects assigned by the pension & institutional sales team
- Help to ensure that all necessary action points for the pension & institutional team are implemented
- Assist Head of Liquidity Solutions with updating and controlling the implementation of the sales strategy
- Assist the pension & institutional sales team with controlling and reporting
Experience and Qualifications Required
- Analytical mindset
- Results orientation and client focus - ability to see requirement from other people’s point of view
- Independent with a hands-on approach, not afraid to take own initiatives
- Diligent and accurate, not accepting mediocre quality
- Ability to create reports and presentations based on complex financial information, in a manner that supports sales and business targets
- Team player
- Interest in the Funds industry
- Prior experience in a sales support role in the finance industry is not required, but seen as an advantage
- Fluent written and verbal English and German
- Good PC knowledge, incl. PowerPoint, Word and Excel
