Purpose of your role
- Support client-facing activity for Fidelity’s global distribution business, liaising with Investment Directors, Portfolio Managers, and the global sales force.
- Support ALM modelling and design, especially for the German DB business.
- Partner with investment and distribution teams worldwide to identify client needs and structure suitable solutions, engaging with clients to understand their long-term investment needs.
- Produce written materials such as pitch books, reporting materials, marketing collateral, and thought leadership content.
- Collaborate to design and enhance collateral that articulates our solutions approach.
- Build relationships and organizational skills, interacting with senior management and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of Fidelity’s business.
The specific responsibilities include:
- Coordinate with investment and operational teams to develop fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Identify commercial opportunities through strong links with distribution.
- Assist Investment Directors in client discussions and onboarding.
- Enhance the profile of Fidelity’s investment solutions internally and externally.
- Deepen knowledge of Fidelity’s capabilities and investment processes.
- Understand market structures, portfolio strategies, and industry trends to support sales and client relationships.
- Monitor industry, regulatory changes, and identify growth opportunities.
Experience and qualifications required
- Client-focused mindset and extensive asset management industry experience.
- ALM modelling experience and strong communication skills.
- Passion for investing, broad market knowledge, and understanding of portfolio theory.
- Technical understanding of investment strategies and solutions.
- Interpersonal skills, team engagement, and stakeholder management experience.
- Commercial acumen and growth mindset.
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to influence.
- Proactive, collaborative, and ownership-oriented attitude.
- CFA or equivalent qualifications preferred.
