The Position

More than a job
As the organiser of some of the biggest and most iconic sport events in the world we lead the way in the sport and event industry.

We are now looking for a Member Associations Services, Project Coordinator that is part of FIFA and supports us on our mission.

These are your key tasks:

  • Support the MA Division Outcome Leads in engineering their core activities and strategic initiatives/ projects into structures, including setting of KPIs and milestones, to allow reporting on progress and completion
  • Support the Director MA Services in monitoring the progress and completion of such KPIs and milestones, including the identification of risks and suggestions for mitigation, using tools for effective reporting
  • Coordinate and keep track of the available required expertise – whether within MA Division, in other FIFA divisions or external – for core activities and strategic initiatives/ projects
  • Support the MA Services team in FIFA Forward Development Programme related tasks, such as reviewing project applications from Member Associations, preparing Development Committee meetings, etc.
  • Support MA Services Director in ad-hoc activities
  • Fulfil general administrative tasks (e.g. contracts, organising travel, etc)

The specific competencies we require for this position are:

  • Analytical acumen and problem solver, with experience translating user feedback into actionable plans
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to manage tasks in an effective and efficient manner
  • Creative thinker with a good eye for detail, design, and presentation
  • Polished communication, writing, grammar, editing and proofreading skills
  • Able to work collaboratively and independently
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and make them easily understandable
  • Managerial skills (e.g. negotiation, strategic planning, project management)
  • Experiences with working in agile and/or network project teams is an advantage
  • Reliability, trust and stress resistant
  • Master degree or similar higher business education
  • Certification or further education in sports business and/or football business is an advantage3-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proven track-record in managing projects
  • Experience in the Sports industry is an advantage Full professional proficiency in English
