Location: Germany (with regular on-site presence required)Option: Interim-to-perm possibleAK1599We are currently supporting an investment-backed group through an important phase of professionalisation and further growth.Following a recent transaction, the business is looking to appoint an experienced Interim Group CFO who can quickly establish transparency at group level, strengthen the finance function and support management and shareholders across a number of strategic and operational finance topics.The role requires someone who is comfortable operating in a decentralised environment, can work across several entities and is able to combine strong technical finance capabilities with a pragmatic, hands‑on approach. Experience within project‑based or service‑oriented businesses would be particularly relevant.There is also the possibility for the assignment to develop into a permanent CFO position.Key ResponsibilitesEstablish and further develop group-level financial reporting and consolidationConsolidate P&L, balance sheet and financial information across several entitiesCreate transparency and a consistent financial data basis at group levelSupport post-transaction finance and accounting topicsPrepare management, shareholder and review reportingSupport and challenge existing local finance teamsReview and improve finance and controlling processesSupport M&A-related finance topics and the further development of the group finance functionProvide financial insight into project performance, margins and operational KPIsProfileProven experience as an Interim CFO, Group CFO or senior finance executiveStrong hands‑on background in group consolidation and holding structuresExperience within private equity or other investor-backed environmentsM&A and post‑transaction experienceStrong understanding of project‑based and/or service‑oriented business modelsExperience working across decentralised organisations and multiple legal entitiesAble to combine strategic oversight with hands‑on executionStrong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively with management teams, shareholders and local finance functionsFluent German and Englisch #J-18808-Ljbffr
