Overview
As a Senior Test Engineer, you will ensure software quality and reliability through hands-on manual testing and contributions to test automation. You will collaborate across the software delivery lifecycle and work with cross-functional teams to improve testing practices. Your work supports scalable, robust products aligned with the company’s digital transformation mission. This role offers hands-on testing challenges in a multinational environment with opportunities to influence quality standards and processes.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Execute and coordinate testing across the software development lifecycle to ensure quality
- Design and maintain test cases, plans, and scenarios from requirements
- Perform manual testing of backend services, APIs, and applications, documenting defects
- Contribute to automated tests to enhance coverage and efficiency
- Analyze results, troubleshoot issues with development teams
- Integrate testing into the delivery process and support continuous improvement
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of software testing experience (manual & automated)
- Experience testing backend systems and APIs
- Proficiency with Postman, SoapUI, JMeter
- Strong RESTful API testing and automation knowledge
- SQL for data verification and test setup
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Experience with Jira and Xray for test management
- Excellent command of Italian and English
- ISTQB Certification or similar is a plus
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies; Scrum experience
