Germany’s leading company in the field of financial advice is continuing to invest heavily in its software engineering teams.
They’re looking for an experienced Lead Developer to take technical leadership of a development team building the next generation of applications used by thousands of financial advisors and customers across Germany.
- Technical leadership role with genuine influence over architecture, engineering standards and technology decisions
- Modern engineering environment using the latest versions of Java, Kotlin, React, Angular and cloud technologies
- Work in a team that actively embraces AI tools, automation and modern software development practices

What will you be doing?
- Taking technical leadership of a development team building modern microservices and web applications
- Designing scalable, cloud-native and event-driven solutions alongside the software architecture team
- Driving code quality through clean code, code reviews, automated testing and engineering best practices
- Coaching and mentoring developers while helping make key technical decisions
- Improving CI/CD, automation and developer experience and the ability to continuously deploy software
What they’re looking for
- Strong commercial experience with Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot
- Experience building complex enterprise applications using cloud-native and microservice architectures
- Previous experience providing technical leadership, coaching or mentoring to software developers
- Strong DevOps mindset with experience in CI/CD, automated testing and modern agile development
