Germany | Remote | Full-time
You know how to win an enterprise deal. You can get beyond the initial brief, understand what’s really holding a business back and bring the right people together to move a decision forward.
Now you’re looking for a role where you can put that experience to work on bigger business problems.
We’re helping an enterprise data-management business find a Client Account Executive in Germany. You’ll sell software and services that help organisations migrate, improve and govern the data their businesses depend on.
You’ll own the sales cycle, from opening the first conversation to closing the agreement. You’ll win new customers, grow major existing accounts and work with technical and delivery specialists to build solutions that stand up to scrutiny.
What will you be doing?
- You’ll build and execute your territory plan, identifying the accounts, relationships and opportunities worth pursuing
- You’ll open doors with new enterprise customers through prospecting, networking and partner relationships
- You’ll grow existing accounts by understanding their wider organisation and finding new projects, use cases and stakeholders
- You’ll lead discovery with business and technology leaders, getting clear on their data challenges and what solving them would mean commercially
- You’ll build business cases across data migration, data quality, master data management and data governance
- You’ll bring together technical specialists, services teams and partners to shape the solution and proposal
- You’ll manage complex sales cycles through evaluation, procurement, negotiation and close
- You’ll build relationships with senior decision-makers, systems integrators and partners across the SAP ecosystem
- You’ll sell software, services and support, working closely with delivery colleagues to set clear expectations
- You’ll keep your account plans, pipeline and forecasts accurate, taking ownership of your targets and results
You’ve sold complex enterprise software or technology services and can talk clearly about the business you’ve won, how you won it and the value it created. Ideally, you’ll bring seven or more years in direct or indirect sales.
Your background could be in data management, data quality, governance, MDM, integration or a closely related enterprise-software market. Experience around SAP transformation and its partner ecosystem would be useful.
You’re comfortable finding new business as well as developing established accounts. You know how to navigate a buying group, build credibility with senior leaders and keep a long sales process moving.
You’ll have responsibility across the whole sales cycle in a hands-on, quota-carrying role. You’ll be able to build opportunities across both software and services, with conversations that span technology, business change and delivery.
If you enjoy getting into the detail of an enterprise customer’s challenges, building the commercial case and seeing a complex deal through, there’s plenty here to get your teeth into.
