About the Role

The FinOps Senior Analyst will support financial operations and analysis, playing a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of financial data and assisting with financial reporting. This position is essential for managing, optimizing, and forecasting cloud spending across multiple cloud providers. The selected candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities and a comprehensive understanding of cloud cost management, collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical teams to drive financial efficiency. In this dynamic environment, the role's primary objectives include enhancing financial processes, identifying cost‑saving opportunities, and developing dashboards and reports to provide visibility into cloud expenses. Key Responsibilities

• Support daily financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, while maintaining accurate financial records and resolving discrepancies.
• Identify and implement process improvements within financial operations.
• Monitor and analyze cloud expenditures across a multi‑cloud environment.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for enhanced visibility into cloud costs.
• Assist in budget planning and forecasting for cloud expenditures.
• Conduct detailed cost analysis and financial modeling to inform decision‑making.
• Recommend cost optimization strategies such as right‑sizing, reserved instances, and autoscaling.
• Track and report on the effectiveness of cost‑saving measures.
• Enforce cloud cost management policies and governance frameworks.
• Utilize FinOps tools and platforms to automate cost management processes.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a financial analysis or operations role.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial analysis techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills for interpreting complex financial data.
• Detail‑oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
• Strong communication skills for conveying complex financial information to non‑financial stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.
• Experience with cloud cost management in Azure and GCP.
• Proficiency in cloud cost management tools (e.g., CloudHealth, Cloudability, AWS Cost Explorer).
• Knowledge of scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
• Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
