Help Europe’s financial institutions regain control of their data, cash and operations
Across the DACH region, banks, custodians and asset managers are under intense pressure.
Payments are moving faster. Liquidity expectations are rising. Regulators demand stronger controls. And fragmented middle‑ and back‑office processes are creating operational risk, cost and client dissatisfaction.
At FIS, our Data Solutions and Asset Servicing platforms sit at the heart of clients’ operating models, helping them reconcile at scale, investigate payments efficiently, monitor intraday liquidity, and control post‑trade data with confidence.
We’re now looking for a German‑speaking Senior Sales Executive to grow our footprint across Germany, Austria and Switzerland, partnering with leading financial institutions as they modernise mission‑critical operations.
The impact you’ll have
This role is about more than hitting a number — it’s about helping institutions fix problems they feel every day.
You’ll:
- Win new clients across the DACH region
- Help organisations reduce operational risk and manual effort
- Enable real‑time visibility across payments, liquidity and asset servicing
- Build long‑term partnerships rooted in trust, credibility and delivery
You’ll do this as part of a high‑performing, collaborative sales team — not a lone‑wolf environment. You’ll work shoulder‑to‑shoulder with experienced peers, pre‑sales specialists, product leaders and delivery teams who are committed to winning together.
What you’ll be selling
You’ll represent FIS Data Solutions, spanning:
- Reconciliation and breaks management
- Payments investigation and exception resolution
- Intraday liquidity and cash monitoring
- Asset servicing and post‑trade data controls
These solutions are deeply embedded in clients’ day‑to‑day operations, supporting institutions that need accuracy, resilience and real‑time insight across complex transaction volumes.
How you’ll do it
- Drive new client acquisition across Germany, Austria and Switzerland
- Build and execute a targeted DACH sales pipeline across banks, custodians, asset managers, fund administrators and buy‑side institutions
- Lead consultative sales engagements, uncovering challenges such as:
- Payment delays and investigation backlogs
- Limited real‑time liquidity visibility
- High‑volume reconciliation breaks and data inconsistencies
- Operational risk driven by manual, fragmented processes
- Own the end‑to‑end sales cycle — from prospecting and qualification through solution design, negotiation and close
- Partner closely with product, pre‑sales and delivery teams to craft outcome‑based proposals aligned to client transformation goals
- Maintain accurate CRM forecasting and contribute to regional go‑to‑market strategy
- Stay current on regulatory and market drivers impacting DACH operations (e.g. BaFin expectations, AIFMD, intraday liquidity controls, operational resilience)
What we’re looking for
- Business‑proficient or native German, plus strong English
- Proven success selling fintech, data or investment operations solutions into banks or buy‑side firms
- Solid domain understanding of:
- Reconciliation and breaks management
- Payments processing and investigations
- Liquidity and cash monitoring
- Asset servicing and post‑trade operations
- A consultative sales approach with the credibility to engage senior operational and technology leaders
- Experience navigating long, multi‑stakeholder enterprise sales cycles
Why join FIS?
- Join a respected market leader in data‑driven investment operations and asset servicing
- Be part of a genuinely collaborative sales culture where people support each other to win
- Sell solutions that are mission‑critical and deeply embedded in client operating models
- Benefit from clear career progression, senior leadership exposure and opportunities to expand your scope — whether deeper into complex enterprise sales or broader regional leadership
