Job Title: Senior Backend Engineer (Golang)
Languages: German (fluent) & English
Experience: Over 5 years of backend development using Golang and OOP languages
Salary: €45,000 - €70,000 gross/year
Contract: Full time, no freelancing
Responsibilities
Design and build resilient, high-performance microservices in Golang, owning the architecture to deployment.
Leverage AI-augmented development tools to accelerate boilerplate, write unit tests, and auto-generate documentation.
Embrace continuous delivery and GitOps, deploying code multiple times a day with automated testing and monitoring.
Design a unified interface for our services, ensuring APIs are intuitive and self-documenting.
Integrate AI and ML capabilities such as anomaly detection and automated error classification.
Lead and mentor junior developers on Go, tooling, and efficient engineering practices.
Qualifications
Deep Go expertise – 5+ years of backend development, strong grasp of OOP/SOLID.
Distributed systems mastery – knowledge of consistency models and fault‑tolerant architectures.
Experience with AI tools improving productivity.
Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
API design skill for RESTful and RPC systems, asynchronous message systems such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, PubSub.
Database strategy – relational vs NoSQL.
Excellent communication for explaining complex concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences.
