Overview
In this role you will contribute to Fitch’s global bank credit coverage by analyzing Benelux banks, preparing rating materials, and supporting committees. You work with a cross‑functional team to monitor issuer ratings, develop sector insights, and maintain analytical tools. The position offers early‑stage responsibility, interaction with senior management, and exposure to a diverse set of banking models. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Monitor issuer ratings and prepare rating committee documentation
- Analyze financial institution data and regulatory, market factors impacting credit profiles
- Update internal tools for peer analysis and charts
- Draft and publish rating reports on individual issuers
- Participate in credit rating committees and interact with issuer contacts
- Contribute to sector research, country snapshots and background information
- Support broader team coverage of other banks, including data requests and committee packs
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Proven analytical experience (2–5 years) in credit or audit fields
- Background in financial institutions or corporate credit analysis
- Excellent written and verbal English; Italian or Spanish also essential
- First university degree; professional qualifications (e.g., CFA) preferred
- Ability to work independently and in a team; capable under time pressure
- Strong financial statement analysis and writing/communication skills
