Head of Global Commodity Management Casting & Machining (m/f/d)

We are looking for dedicated reinforcement for our purchasing team in Voerde, Bocholt or Chemnitz.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Strategic orientation in global, optimal procurement markets as well as analysing global markets and preparing forecasts.

2. Planning and implementation of global commodity strategies, achievement of CNI / budget targets.

3. Support of qualification of global suppliers in cooperation with cross functions.

4. Implementation and realisation of innovations and cost and value engineering at the supplier.

5. Leading a global team.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience:

1. Degree in business administration or mechanical engineering.

2. Sound professional experience in purchasing, management experience and negotiating skills.

3. Very good knowledge of SAPR3 CO and MS Excel.

4. Strong ability to work in a team in an international environment.

5. Business fluent in English is essential due to the support of production sites abroad; willingness to travel abroad on business.
