Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Director, Global Program Manager. We are seeking a Director, Global Program Manager who will be responsible for one or more projects on a global basis that are interrelated from the perspective of customer, technology, and/or product platform and provide guidance, direction, and support to the Project Managers assigned to these projects.
What a typical day looks like:
- Manage customer relationships on a global basis and act as the key escalation point globally for all product programs, projects, and operational performance issues.
- Facilitate collaborative communication between all functional areas within a location/business group/vertically integrated organization.
- Facilitate external two-way communication between Customer and Flex Sites.
- Manage the process to ensure Customers‘ expectations are clearly defined, understood, and communicated across the appropriate Flex Organizations.
- Work with Design and Operations globally to ensure the appropriate Project Managers and project resources are assigned to all customer projects.
- Accountable for the performance of the FPLC project team(s) and Project Manager(s) and ensure all project managers, program managers, and project teams adhere to the Flex Product Life Cycle Process (FPLC) process no matter where the projects are initiated from.
- Attend phase gate reviews where applicable (i.e., FPLC and Customer) and monitor and review project performance with the principal Project Manager and Operations Program Manager ensuring timely resolution of any issues that may arise.
- Provide the necessary leadership and support to Project Managers (design, NPI, lead, etc.) to manage projects in line with project management processes and associated policies and procedures.
- Ensure collaborative cross-functional project team participation to effectively initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and control all phases of a project or subproject to ensure work efforts are executed on time, within budget, and according to stated requirements reliably and repeatedly.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years experience working within Account or Program management.
- Experience or working knowledge within the sheet metal industry.
- Experience with Customers in rack enclosures space is a strong plus.
- Experience in P&L reports.
- Customer-facing experience working with customer-focused teams both internally and externally.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint).
- Ability to interface and communicate with different levels of the organization.
- Well organized & disciplined, good attention to detail, sets priorities, and manages time effectively.
Some of our preferred experiences:
- Experience in Sustaining and NPI.
- PMP, PMO experience is also a plus.
- Microsoft Project experience is also a plus.

Pay Range (Applicable to US Remote): Due to this role being remote, the actual pay range will vary depending on the geographical location of the candidate: $150,700.00 USD – $207,200.00 USD Annual.
