We are seeking an experienced
Infrastructure Automation Engineer to play a key role in driving the automation and modernisation of our hybrid IT infrastructure within the Distributed Systems Group (DSG).
Tasks
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain infrastructure automation solutions across hybrid environments
- Develop and manage
- Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Power Shell
- Integrate automation into
- CI/CD pipelines to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability
- Collaborate with infrastructure, Dev Ops, platform, application, and security teams
- Contribute to automation standards, documentation, and governance
Requirements
- Strong experience with
- Ia C tools
- (Terraform, Ansible, or similar)
- Proficiency in scripting
- (Power Shell, Python, or Bash)
- Solid understanding of on-premises and cloud infrastructure
- (Azure, AWS, VMware)
- Experience working in
- Dev Ops or agile environments
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Desirable
- Experience with containerisation and orchestration
- (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with
- Git Ops tools (Argo CD, Flux)
- Relevant certifications (Terraform, Azure, AWS)
