Overview
As Materials Manager at Flex (EMEA), you will lead material planning, distribution and inventory control to support production and customer satisfaction. You’ll implement policies and governance, oversee demand management, and coordinate with sites, customers, and operations to optimize supply chain performance. This role combines hands-on leadership with strategic process design to minimize excess and obsolete inventory while meeting delivery expectations. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Develop, implement, and maintain material control policies, procedures and systems
- Deploy governance and monitor adherence across processes
- Audit, support and train on demand management activities
- Coordinate with site, customers, project managers, operations managers and materials managers
- Direct inventory distribution to production lines
- Lead staff to achieve Materials P&L goals and minimize excess/obsolete stock
- Negotiate to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and align staff activities with expectations
- Travel as required

- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of material and manufacturing experience, including supervision
