Senior Business Analyst Finance (m/f/d) Berlin Regular

We\’re looking for a motivated and driven Senior Business Analyst Finance (m/f/d) who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success. You will be a part of the Global Finance Transformation team and will help the team deliver state of art and sustainable tools and processes, taking automation and scalability to the next level.

Your Tasks – Paint the world green

• Join our newly established Finance Analytics team, driving automation, digitalization, and developing state-of-the-art reporting solutions for Global Finance stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Global Finance users, gathering and documenting business requirements, conducting process/value flow analysis, and drafting conceptual designs.
• Lead multiple projects, managing competing deadlines and ensuring the timely delivery of solutions while maintaining high attention to detail.
• Act as a liaison between IT and business, providing continuous insights into tool changes within the Flixbus portfolio that impact the business.
• Design and implement data mapping, ETL solutions, and systems integration, with a focus on SQL and Oracle.
• Develop new solutions to extract, transform, and load data across business applications and the BI stack.
• Continuously enhance data quality, integrity, and stability to improve overall system performance.
• Collaborate with data experts to design scalable, flexible BI applications that can handle increasing data volumes effectively.

Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Informatics, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, with at least 5 years of professional experience.
• Basic understanding of Finance processes, with a willingness and enthusiasm to learn and deepen this knowledge.
• Solid analytical skills, combined with technical expertise, and a keen interest in understanding and addressing business (Finance) needs.
• Highly motivated to support automation and digitalization initiatives, with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to improving processes.
• Extensive experience working with data systems such as Snowflake, SQL, and Oracle DBMS, with a strong passion for data analysis and handling large datasets.
• Advanced SQL knowledge with a deep understanding of data management practices to ensure high data quality, integrity, and optimization.
• Strong proficiency in Business Intelligence tools, preferably Power BI, and advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Expertise in Python for data analysis and automation, using it to drive more efficient data processes and insights.
• Proven experience in implementing ETL processes and building data warehouses to support scalable, efficient reporting and data management.
• Significant experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or Data Science, focusing on modern technologies and innovative approaches to data handling.
• Familiarity with API development for data integration and automation processes is a plus.
• Fluent in English, with proficiency in any additional European languages considered a plus.
