Responsibilities
Participate in the strategic management of the Pumps Cyclone Valves business in the ECANA region, including monthly management reporting. Develop, train, and lead PC&V site sales and site support personnel across Europe. Promote Pumps Cyclone Valves products and services to all customers in the region. Drive site support teams to defend the existing installation base and drive site sales to convert competitor PC&Vs. Support inventory management to ensure competitive lead times on aftermarket parts and conversion opportunities. Collaborate with global product line managers, global service line managers, product sales, service sales, and internal sales support to develop winning proposals. Travel to customer sites and engineering firms to troubleshoot, consult on system design, support start‑ups as necessary, and ensure proper aftermarket support is in place, including warranty and quality issue resolution. Qualifications
Relevant Bachelor of Science Engineering degree or equivalent knowledge and work experience. Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a sales environment. Strong knowledge of competitor equipment to help define value proposition for FLSmidth offerings. Ability to read and interpret engineering and mechanical drawings, understand equipment manuals and familiarize with parts lists. Competent in account management and territory planning; able to organize sales strategies and possess exceptional presentation skills. Self‑starter and problem‑solver who keeps the customers’ best interests at heart; communicates proactively and regularly with inside sales, engineering and management teams. Complete regular entries and updates in a CRM system, including contacts, appointments and opportunities. Knowledge of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programme will be advantageous. Computer literate in MS Office. Completion and regular updates of comprehensive account plans for key accounts. Valid driver’s license. Must speak English and German. Displays honesty, ethics and integrity at all times.
