Overview
In this role you will lead engineering delivery for energy storage and power projects within Fluence’s Solution Engineering team in the EMEA region. You will coordinate internal and external engineers to meet contractual, quality, and budget targets and drive value-engineering for best-in-class system design. You’ll interact with clients and suppliers, influence design decisions, and support procurement with technical reviews. This is a remote-friendly, travel-ready position in a fast-growing, mission-driven company shaping sustainable energy solutions.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Coordinate internal and external engineering disciplines and partners to deliver on time, on budget, and with high quality
- Ensure deliverables meet contractual requirements and are build-able, considering regional/country design and cost impacts
- Facilitate internal and external design review meetings and verify compliance with ISO 9001 quality program
- Promote value engineering and innovative approaches for optimal system design
- Support Project Procurement by drafting construction and electrical equipment specifications and performing technical reviews of proposals
- Review designs to ensure compliance with project requirements and contractual obligations
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor in Electrical Engineering
- At least 8 years of experience in power systems design for utility installations, PV plants, and battery storage in the EMEA region
- Experience in EPC for High Voltage Systems, Wind, Solar, or conventional power generation; energy storage experience beneficial
- Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously and deliver on time and budget
- Familiarity with codes, standards, and regulations in the EMEA region
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team with clients and staff
- Fluency in English and German
- Willingness to travel up to 20%
