Next, you may be reviewing payroll calculations, supporting month-end reporting, coordinating with accountants and payroll providers, preparing employment documentation, or ensuring compliance with German labour law.

You act as a trusted advisor to leadership while also serving as an advocate for employees. You are the main point of contact for all people-related matters across the employee lifecycle and frequently operate at the intersection of HR, finance, legal, and business operations.

  • Partner with external counsel and in-house legal teams on employment, compliance and litigation matters.
  • Draft and review employment-related documentation, including contracts, amendments, compensation arrangements and separation agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, internal policies and HR governance across DACH, while supporting wider European people initiatives.

  • Drive HR operations and data integrity acrossWorkday,DATEV, and Salesforce, ensuring accurate employee records, contractual documentation, organizational changes, and workflow management.
  • Lead onboarding, offboarding, background screening, leave management, and employee administration processes for employees and subcontractors.
  • Serve as the key point of contact between employees, managers, payroll providers, finance, and external stakeholders on HR operational matters.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor law requirements, internal governance standards, and audit expectations through robust process ownership and controls.
  • Act as the final quality and compliance checkpoint for payroll and employment-related transactions, proactively identifying risks, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.

Finance & Cost Control

  • Act as the primary local finance contact for the German entity.
  • Coordinate with accountants and Group Finance on month-end activities, audits, statutory filings and ad-hoc financial matters.
