Technical Application Engineer - Non-destructive testing

Responsibilities

Perform field service data collection, routing, and reporting.

1. Primarily performs incoming inspection, shipment setup, on-site installation, and training for eddy current flaw detectors.
2. Perform on-site troubleshooting and repair of eddy current flaw detectors.
3. Perform factory setup, on-site installation, and training for flux leakage testing equipment.
4. Provide pre-service technical support, product education, and after-sales support services.
5. Service the machine as necessary.
6. Selection and installation of localized equipment.

Qualifications

1. Have an engineering degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
2. Good oral and written English & German proficiency.
3. A positive attitude towards problem solving and tight deadlines.
4. Good organizational and time management skills.
5. Ability to respond to urgent domestic and international travel needs.
6. Familiarity with Windows PC hardware and software.
7. Need to work overtime in service work as required.
8. In possession of a driver’s license.
9. Have basic networking knowledge.
10. Ability to read electric circuit diagrams and drawings.
11. Ability to design electrical schematics is a plus.
