We are partnering with a leading global alternatives investor on a confidential search, ahead of a major Secondaries Fund fundraise. This is a front-row seat on a multi-billion raise between investment and investor relations with real runway to grow as the platform scales.
The successful candidate will join the role which operates as the interface between the investment teams and the firm's Investor Relations function, institutional client base. The role combines investment specialist responsibilities with investor relations, and offers clear scope for professional progression as the platform continues to scale.
Key responsibilities
Support capital-raising activity across secondaries sub-strategies and contribute to go-to-market execution
Conduct market research and in-depth portfolio analysis in support of the fundraise
Respond to ad-hoc requests from investors, prospective clients and relationship managers
Engage with, and present to, institutional investors and other external-facing parties
Liaise closely with the investment, investment controlling, legal and compliance teams to ensure consistent and accurate communication
Candidate profile
4–7 years' experience in investor relations , investment management, within private equity
Strong grounding in private markets, with direct secondaries and/or private equity exposure strongly preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to sophisticated institutional investors
Analytically capable, highly organised and able to manage multiple workstreams to demanding fundraising timelines
