Senior VP - Infrastructure - Private Equity in Zürich

Flynn & Chase is working with one of Europe's leading alternative investment managers on a senior hire for their infrastructure team in the Zurich area. The firm manages over $100bn across private markets, has 900+ people in 15+ offices worldwide and works with several hundred institutional investors around the globe.

Their infrastructure platform invests through fund commitments, secondaries and direct co-investments, and it keeps growing. This hire is about building out the secondaries side.

The role

You will lead infrastructure secondary deals end to end and play a key part in growing this part of the business. Senior, visible role with direct access to the investment committee and a lot of room to shape the strategy.

What you'll do

• Source, structure and lead LP-led and GP-led infrastructure secondary transactions
• Underwrite funds and the underlying assets, and take recommendations to the investment committee
• Build strong relationships with GPs, placement agents, advisers and co-investors
• Support portfolio monitoring, fundraising and client work
• Coach and develop the junior members of the team

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of relevant investment experience, with a real track record in infrastructure secondaries
• Deals across both LP-led and GP-led secondaries, ideally on a global scale
• Strong modelling and valuation skills
• Top university degree in finance, business or engineering
• Excellent English; German is a plus
• Based in Switzerland or happy to relocate to Zurich
