Overview:

A leading private equity firm in Frankfurt is seeking a Private Equity Associate with a strong deal-making mindset and a proven track record of transactions in the Frankfurt market. The ideal candidate has a background in Investment Banking (IB) or Private Equity (PE), an entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to drive deals from origination to execution. Fluency in German is essential, with additional European language skills being a plus.

With a highly experienced team of investment professionals, operating partners, and senior advisors across Europe, they provide comprehensive sourcing, execution, and post-acquisition support to portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Originate, evaluate, and execute investments in the mid-market space.
• Conduct financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence on potential targets.
• Work closely with management teams and portfolio companies to drive value creation.
• Structure and negotiate transactions, ensuring smooth execution of deals.
• Prepare investment memos and presentations for internal committees and external stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends and identify new opportunities for investment.

Key Requirements:

• Experience: 2-4 years in Investment Banking (M&A, Leveraged Finance) or Private Equity.
• Track Record: Demonstrated success in deal origination and execution in Frankfurt.
• Languages: Fluent in German (mandatory); additional European languages are a plus.
• Skills: Strong financial modeling, valuation, and negotiation capabilities.
• Personality: A deal-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with excellent relationship-building skills.
