flyze.platform runs in very different environments: on our customers' own infrastructure, in their own cloud or as a hosted solution.
For our software to run reliably, securely and simply, we need an infrastructure that is as flexible as our platform.
For that we are looking for a DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d) who will take our deployments, infrastructure and operational processes further.
What you will do
- You build and run the infrastructure of flyze.platform ... from on-premise installations through to cloud environments.
- You automate build, deployment and update processes.
- You take our CI/CD pipelines further.
- You work with Docker and containerised applications.
- You look after Linux systems, networks, databases and the communication between our services.
- You build solutions for reproducible customer installations.
- You monitor systems, analyse faults and make sure problems are spotted and fixed quickly.
- You develop concepts for backups, updates, monitoring and security.
- You support the integration of flyze.platform into existing customer infrastructures and IT landscapes.
- You automate recurring tasks and cut down manual operational effort.
- You evaluate new technologies and decide together with the team which of them make sense for our platform.
What you bring
You do not have to have mastered every technology in our stack already. What matters is that you really understand infrastructure and can solve problems on your own.
Infrastructure & DevOps
- Experience with Linux
- Experience with Docker and containerisation
- Knowledge of CI/CD and deployment automation
- An understanding of networks, DNS, HTTP, TLS and firewalls
- Experience with monitoring, logging and fault analysis
- A basic grasp of IT security and secure system configurations

Experience with Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code or cloud platforms is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Here you will not be working on an abstract cloud infrastructure.
Our software runs in real industrial companies ... in some cases inside their own data centres and networks. That brings genuinely interesting technical challenges: different infrastructures, security requirements, network conditions and individual IT landscapes.
You have a direct say in
- how our platform is installed and run,
- how automated our deployments are,
- how we make updates and maintenance simpler for customers,
- and how our infrastructure grows with the platform.
We are a small team with short decision paths. You work directly with development, management and customers, and you can see technical decisions through from the idea to live operation.
