Position Title: Claims Technical Assistant I (m/f/d)
Reports To: Insurance Product Services Manager I, Tabitha Gaw
Location: Frankfurt, Paris, Maidenhead, or Amsterdam

Enterprise Service Delivery has an exciting opportunity for a Claims Technical Assistant (CTA) to join the EMEA-based Claims team.
The CTA plays a vital role within the Claims organisation, providing technical support by maintaining the loss adjustment inventory record of opened and closed losses, while assisting adjusters with file management support. The role includes the processing of claims, subrogation/salvage recoveries, reinsurance placements, policy coverage confirmation, statutory reporting requirements, daily transaction reconciliation, and miscellaneous special projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide claims processing function for Enterprise Service Delivery. Use attention to detail to carefully review reports and information to obtain necessary policy information for distribution to team members.
- Create and maintain new losses, upload information in the system. Process and track payments, distribute statements of settlement to clients/brokers and consultants.
- Provide support for adjustment processing on losses. Maintain loss control system and distribute adjustment correspondence internally and to clients.
- Generate reports as required to monitor contributions to Key Result Areas.
- Use strong communication skills to connect and collaborate with various teams and departments for information-gathering and problem-solving issues, ensuring losses are processed accurately and quickly.
- Demonstrate strong digital literacy and stay on top of company-based systems technology.
Qualifications
- 3+ years‘ experience preferably within insurance, finance, or similar environment. Combination of education and work experience will be considered.
- English and German language skills as a minimum. Any other language would be a bonus.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, primarily Excel and other database software. Proven proficiency working with numbers and analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; Strong interpersonal skills, a professional attitude, and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work, taking directions from several sources.
