About the role
As an Account Engineering Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our Account Engineering team by coordinating a wide range of administrative and operational activities. By ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of information, reports, and engineering services, you will help our engineers focus on building strong client relationships and driving risk improvement initiatives.
You will also actively support the preparation of client meetings by gathering and analyzing relevant data, compiling reports, and creating presentation materials. Through your contribution, you will play an important role in helping our Account Engineers deliver impactful client interactions and achieve successful outcomes for our customers.
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with internal stakeholders and clients while developing valuable expertise in engineering support and client service.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate the timely delivery of engineering services and products for new and existing client locations, including setting up locations, identifying local contacts, supporting visit scheduling and ensuring correct report distribution.
- Support risk improvement activities by tracking recommendations and entering follow-up information from clients and field engineering teams into the respective systems.
- Compile reports, data and client information for presentations, internal meetings, account reviews and other Account Engineering activities.
- Participate in client meetings and prepare all relevant materials and documentation required to support effective discussions and follow-up.
- Respond to internal and external client enquiries within established timeframes or direct them to the appropriate contact.
- Build effective, trusted working relationships with Account Engineers, engineering management, clients, brokers and other internal partners.
Qualifications
- Completed commercial vocational training or a higher qualification.
- At least two years of experience supporting a team and/or manager.
- Fluent written and spoken English, with good German language skills.
- Confident use of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- A proactive, customer-focused approach, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills, with close attention to detail.
