In this role, you will

- Collaborate with FMI scientists to interpret, communicate, and publish results.

- Work closely with the Mass Spectrometry Facility on advanced data analysis.

- Analyze proteomics and other high-throughput omics datasets and develop new analytical approaches when needed.

- Advise scientists on experimental design and data analysis strategies.

- Teach and mentor scientists in computational biology and proteomics.

About you

- You hold a PhD degree or can demonstrate equivalent experience in computational biology, physics, mathematics, biology or related fields, with formal training in statistics and multivariate data analysis.

- You have strong programming skills, including knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and signal processing.

- You have extensive experience analyzing and interpreting mass spectrometry data using state-of-the-art tools, and you are interested in integrating it with other data modalities, such as RNA-seq or ATAC-seq data.

- You enjoy collaborative projects, communicate results effectively, and work well with experimental biologists.

- You can work independently and are open to acquiring new skills relevant to your role.
