Environmental Project Manager 80-100%
In this role, you will work within the Engineering sector of the Production department.
Your mission
Your mission is to manage projects impacting the environment within the framework of concession applications for new or existing hydroelectric developments, as well as hydraulic power rehabilitation projects (sluicing, fish migration and sediment transport). As an environmental specialist, you support projects from the planning phase through to the implementation of environmental measures. You are a member of interdisciplinary project teams. You commission and support external environmental offices.
Your profile
- Master’s degree in biology, ecology, environmental sciences or environmental engineering (ETH or University of Applied Sciences) with in-depth knowledge of environmental impact studies (water, nature, landscape). Good knowledge of aquatic ecology is an asset. - Experience in water rights concession projects, hydraulic power rehabilitation or river revitalisation is an asset. - Experience in managing interdisciplinary projects - Strong interest in various topics relevant to hydroelectric projects, such as technology, legal procedures, spatial planning, hydrology and energy management - Dynamic and flexible personality with a desire to act in a constantly evolving environment - Ability to work both independently and in multidisciplinary project groups - Native German or French speaker with a very good knowledge of the other language
