Operations Manager 80-100%
In this role, you will work in the Asset Management area of the Production department.
Your mission
Your task is to take over the operational management of the hydropower and photovoltaic plants assigned to you with a structured, reliable, and long-term oriented approach.
You coordinate the interfaces between internal and external stakeholders, associated companies, authorities, and specialised service providers.
You ensure the safety, maintenance, upkeep, and availability of the infrastructures while also guaranteeing careful management of data, processes, and operational issues.
In this role, you contribute to representing the interests of the assigned plants in the commissions and committees of the associated companies.
With your commitment, you contribute to strengthening operational quality, collaboration with regional partners, and supply security with renewable electricity.
You ensure reporting to the responsible bodies and actively support strategic planning as well as the continuous improvement of the Asset Management area.
Your profile
- Higher education in a technical field such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, or equivalent training, complemented by a good sense for energy and infrastructure-related issues - Proven experience in maintenance, upkeep, or operation of technical infrastructures, ideally in the energy sector or in critical infrastructure areas - Good understanding of the technical, operational, and safety-related challenges in the operation of hydropower infrastructures - Experience in leading technical projects and coordinating external service providers - Strong interest in hydropower operations, environmental, regulatory and institutional issues, as well as collaboration with associated companies - Clear and audience-appropriate communication with different stakeholders as well as good coordination, negotiation, and interface skills - Independent, responsible, and structured personality able to handle multiple dossiers simultaneously, set priorities, and operate in an interdisciplinary environment - Native German or French speaker with very good knowledge of the other language (level B2-C1) and good English skills
