For its mission, the Specialized School is looking for an Educational Advisor.
Educational Advisor for the program at 50%Your mission: You are assigned to the mental disability program and act as a resource person for the students#39; individualized projects as well as for the lead teachers.
You carry out your actions in agreement with the head of the mental disability program.
You establish and maintain relationships with teachers at the pedagogical sites, parents, and your other colleagues.
Your profile: You hold a pedagogical degree (HEP) or a degree in social work (HES or equivalent will be considered), ideally supplemented by training in specialized education or any other training in the field of disability and autism spectrum disorders.
You have confirmed experience with students with specific needs, which constitutes a real asset for this position.
Recognized for your commitment, your sense of tact, and your listening skills, you know how to establish quality relationships and collaborate with different partners.
Organized and involved, you place particular importance on the human dimension of your work.
Able to travel regularly, you possess a personal vehicle as well as a valid driver#39; s license.
