The Saphir Foundation, a multi-mission and multi-site foundation (psychogeriatrics, geriatrics, adult psychiatry), is active in the medico-social field in the canton of Vaud and in the reception and support of people vulnerable in their physical and mental integrity throughout their life process.
To complete our multidisciplinary team, we are looking for our protected apartments "Entour’Âge":
Housekeeper (F/M/D) on a 60% permanent contract - Entour’Âge
Whatever their role, the professionals of the Saphir Foundation share a common will, that of supporting the people daily to enable them to concretely experience the institutional service strategy "like at home". That is to say, to preserve their habits as much as possible, to offer a response adapted to their wishes and, through genuine interprofessional collaboration, to enable the well-being and happiness of the people.
You contribute to the well-being of our tenants by ensuring a welcoming, clean and safe environment. Within the scope of your role, you provide table service to the tenants, as well as setting up and tidying the dining room. You participate in dishwashing and various maintenance tasks related to the service. Through your daily presence, you develop a close relationship with the tenants, showing listening, kindness and attention to their needs, thus contributing to their comfort and quality of life. The position is offered on a schedule from 10:15 to 15:14, spread over 5 days a week, including one weekend out of two.
YOUR BACKGROUND - YOUR QUALITIES AND SKILLS
- You have a strong sense of hospitality and human relations. - You have recognised experience with elderly people. - One of your primary qualities is empathy. - Team spirit, self-reflection and communication skills are among your assets. - You have adaptability and your interventions are oriented towards the tenant’s well-being. - Fluency in French (spoken and written) and regular use of IT tools are prerequisites for you.
