The Saphir Foundation, a multi-mission foundation (psychogeriatrics, geriatrics, adult psychiatry), is active in the medico-social field in the canton of Vaud and in the reception and support of people weakened in their physical and psychological integrity throughout their lives.
Within this framework and to complete our team, we are looking for our Uatp Le Quai in Yverdon-les-Bains, which has 94 clients and caters to adults with mental and/or psychological disorders whose life path requires support in protected apartments:
Permanent Housekeeping Professional between 80% and 100% - Uatp Le Quai
As a housekeeping professional, you ensure the management, coordination and smooth running of cleaning, laundry and housekeeping services within the establishment. You play a key role in the quality of the living environment, ensuring a clean, pleasant and safe environment for the residents.
Your role combines professional expertise, support and knowledge transfer. You assist people with mental disabilities or vulnerabilities in carrying out housekeeping activities, taking into account their abilities, resources and support plan. You promote their autonomy, participation and self-esteem through concrete and adapted activities.
Committed to an interprofessional dynamic, you actively participate in the life of the establishment and the implementation of support projects. You contribute to promoting quality hospitality services, respecting hygiene, safety, economy and ecology principles.
In your role, you are responsible for the organisation and quality of the Housekeeping service, ensuring compliance with institutional standards and procedures. You oversee cleanliness, order and safety of the premises, ensure quality table service and proper laundry management, while guaranteeing appropriate, economical and safe use of equipment and materials.
You welcome clients upon their arrival and help provide a warm and well-kept environment. You support residents in daily living tasks and housekeeping activities, encouraging their participation and personal development. You work closely with the interprofessional team and contribute to individualised support projects.
You also participate in the continuous improvement of services and professional practices. You maintain and develop your skills through ongoing training and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
YOUR BACKGROUND - YOUR QUALITIES AND SKILLS
- Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a hotel/housekeeping manager or equivalent training is an asset. - Proven experience in housekeeping, ideally in the social or medico-social sector. - Strong interest in supporting people with mental disabilities or vulnerabilities. - Experience or ease in knowledge transfer and supporting people in practical activities. - Strong organisational skills, autonomy and ability to prioritise tasks. - Experience in psychiatry or interest in this field. - Person-centred attitude focused on well-being and resources. - Ability to work in an organised manner and in interprofessional collaboration. - Appropriate communication, empathy, adaptability, professional ethics and constructive attitude. - Excellent command of French (spoken and written) and common IT tools.
