For our residences welcoming elderly people with intellectual disabilities, we are looking for several:
Community Care Assistants (CCA)
Your mission
- Provide quality services in the field of care and daily life activities through medical-technical acts, assistance, and organisation of daily life; - Participate in key stages of the residents’ support project within the residence: reception, interdisciplinary meetings, interdisciplinary activities, care and support; - Actively contribute to the smooth running of the residence and the overall care of the residents; - Ensure safety and guarantee a good quality of life for each resident; - Carry out routine administrative tasks related to the role; - Participate in projects related to the sector.
Your profile
- Holder of a Federal VET Diploma as a Community Care Assistant with authorisation to practise in the canton of Geneva; - You have solid experience with ageing people with disabilities and are familiar with the CRPD; - You know the Geneva socio-educational and socio-medical networks; - You are able to adapt flexibly and responsively to emergency situations; - You demonstrate rigour, organisation and a sense of responsibility; - You show listening skills, availability and perseverance; - You combine team spirit with the ability to act independently; - You are comfortable with common IT and office tools; - You are willing to work irregular hours, including weekends.
Contract type: permanent contract
Work rate: 80%
