In the field, you intervene at the beneficiary's place of living or activity. You define with clients the most suitable solutions for their situations and thus develop a detailed knowledge and a privileged relationship of trust with them. Being part of a close-knit and supportive team, practising these professions allows great autonomy but requires significant responsibility and flexibility from our collaborators.

Your mission
- Assess the needs of the client and their entourage, as well as their level of independence for performing daily activities and establish a functional capacity assessment based on the available resources - Restore conditions that allow clients to carry out daily life activities independently, by proposing assistive devices and adaptations to the living environment and their occupational profile - Support clients in developing new physical, psychological, and social skills. Actively contribute to clients’ home maintenance through prevention and health promotion measures while considering individual needs with personalised care and promoting client autonomy - Participate in the development of the clients’ therapeutic project within the interdisciplinary team - Take part in development projects and working groups focused on continuous improvement of home care and support services - Actively collaborate in interdisciplinary team activities with a distinct role allowing you to enhance your profession as an occupational therapist as a full participant in the healthcare system
Your profile and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy or equivalent qualification (foreign diploma recognised by the CRS) - Experience in physical care hospital services or psychiatry, rehabilitation services, home care, or private practice is an asset - Strong interest in community health - Ability to collaborate in networks and multidisciplinary teams - Sense of responsibility, ability to organise autonomously and set priorities
