About the role

As a part of the Research and Insights team , you will play an instrumental role in unlocking the insights that drive strategy, product innovation, and communication for a strong and dynamic player in the fast-growing Fitness Nutrition category. You will bring a non-partisan point of view to cross-functional discussions to ensure decisions are anchored on consumer and market insights and foresight. Given the fast-paced nature of the business and our bias for action, you will also see these decisions materialized in concrete innovation and commercial decisions. What can you expect to work on?

  • Conduct pieces of research with different objectives, both through external agencies and through DIY research platforms, and help build a point of view on the results and the implications.
  • Monitor the in-market competitive performance of the brand through all available sources and consolidate a point of view that guides portfolio management, brand positioning, and commercial decisions.
  • Leverage data from all available sources to support senior management in making decisions.
  • Create presentation material to support communication to the senior leadership team.
  • Present key findings and recommendations to the organization and senior leadership team.
  • Lead cross-functional work streams to drive continuous improvement in the consumer experience.
  • Proactively suggest ideas within the research and insights team to improve the understanding of the consumer across company levels and to develop insight capabilities and partnerships.

What you bring:

  • At least 4 years of experience in consumer research, preferably in the insights department at companies making products for consumers (FMCG, D2C), or management consulting companies.
  • Experience leading quantitative and qualitative research is essential. Experience working with retail audit, home panel, brand tracking, and web analytics is highly desirable. Experience working with insights in D2C environments is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills, digital skills, numeracy, and attention to detail are essential.
  • Excellent communication skills in English to present clearly to senior stakeholders, simplify complex topics, and influence decision-making.
  • Demonstrated experience in translating data into insights to inspire a team to think differently about the target consumer, and experience in turning insights into transformational actions to improve the performance of businesses.
  • Demonstrated project management skills to make cross-functional projects happen. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and prioritize workload. Proficiency in project management software is a plus.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and a team player.
  • Learning Mindset: Constant learning to keep pace with the environment and lead it.
